Welcome to Shadow Ridge Equestrian Center where students learn to ride in a fun, safe and friendly atmosphere. We are a family operation not a corporation.
All our horses are our own, so we know and love each one individually and can better match the horses to our riders.
We have 21 years experience in the horse business providing solid, quality instruction to encourage and nurture the desire to learn
and provide the means to achieve fine horsemanship.
Shadow Ridge is located just West of Carleton Place on Highway 7 near Ferguson Falls Road. Just a 45 minute drive from
downtown Ottawa and only 30 minutes from Kanata.
Our facilities include a bright clean barn with large box stalls, standing stalls and a care centre/hospital area, and two outside sand rings -
one is a dressage ring and the other a large, floodlit, hunter/jumper ring. Ride in our 80' x 184' MegaDome Indoor Arena with it's wonderful
de-bark chip footing. Enjoy the tranquil setting with 154 acres of beautiful pastures and scenic riding trails. Access to unused roads for
miles of riding enjoyment and abundant wildlife right on our back door.
