BOARDING AND LEASING
Enjoy the tranquil setting with 154+ acres of beautiful pastures and scenic riding trails. Access to unused
roads for miles of riding enjoyment.
We have a bright clean barn with large box stalls, a tack room, two outside sand rings (a dressage ring and a floodlight hunter/jumper
ring). We now also have a huge indoor riding arena. Our MegaDome is 80 feet wide by 184 feet long for your riding pleasure.
Our riding school lessons are on weekday nights from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm, which allows lots of free arena time during the day,
and on weekends for our boarders.
BOARDING
Quality boarding, while allowing your horse to be a horse,
is available for Student's horses (others depending on availability)
We are a "fun", friendly, family oriented barn catering to both adults and children!
Cost $600 month (Includes HST)
Features of Shadow Ridge boarding:
Large box stalls, constructed from hemlock
Includes a stall with bedding, grain and hay for when the horse needs to be in.
Group turnout Horses are outside 24hrs a day except for feed and riding.
All stalls have mineral licks available
Horse Care Centre for times when your horse needs limited turn out due to
illness or injury
Boarders have use of all Shadow Ridge facilities
Weekends reserved for boarders
"Just For Ladies" group lessons enables you to make new friends
Couples welcome - make it your time together
Parent and child group lesson - a fun time to share with each other
Quiet environment
If you own a quiet Quarterhorse, Appaloosa or Paint that would be good for beginner riders, we would be pleased
to talk to you about how you can save on your monthly board.
LEASING
If you are already one of our students and you would like to buy a horse but cannot afford the expense, then leasing may be an option for you.
Board
and tack are included with each lease.
We take care of the annual veterinary care, the cost of trimming the horses feet and the
worming program.
All you need to do is choose from one of our available horses and choose either a 6 months (winter only) or 12 months lease.
Advantages of Leasing one of our horses:
Cost for a half lease (3 days per week) only $400/month (Includes HST)
Cost for a full lease (5 days per week) $600 month (Includes HST)
No large, initial capital outlays to buy the horse

On a half-lease, it's basically your own horse for as long as you lease!
